'Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.' Psalm 105:1-2
PRAISE the Lord for all the blessing I have. I am shouting to all the nations, he has done everything.... we deserve nothing and I pray he knows how thankful I am. May we all treasure this day and give thanks to our Lord and Savior. Happy Thanksgiving
greyson is taking a nap right now and i just snuck in to check on him. i found him like this... don't you just want to cuddle up in there with him, i do?!
after chad got over the flu...we decided let's go see pa pa's for his birthday. so we went to Atlanta last weekend. We spent some time at the Georgia Aquarium
http://www.georgiaaquarium.org/ (which is way better than anything I've ever been to by the way...gotta go, it's worth the trip moms) and we went shopping (my request), we played with all of pa pa's cool restored cars (see below) and we took pa pa to his first japanese hibachi steakhouse (my request again!). Grey did not ride the Harley nor will he, but good try pa pa! busy weekend, but so much fun. happy birthday pa pa! here are a few of my favorite pictures...
Sorry for the delay in the postings! Chad and I had a week long getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (more to come on that), but we have been pretty busy with catching up at home and work. Next came the swine flu for Greyson, changes at my work and well a new iMAC that I'm trying to get a hang of ...we have just been a little overwhelmed. Anywho we are back and updating the blog! There will be a few posts back to back, so that we can try to catch up!
We have created a monster! Grey is obsessed with football, touchdowns, tailgating, cheering, shakers, the crowd, the band and anything else he can absorb! It must be in his blood!haha
He has been to 3 UT games now and I will even confess, that he has watched a little football action on TV!(we have broken our no tv rule for a few minutes each saturday!)
At the UT/ WKU game Greyson clapped and cheered everytime we did. Only 1x did he accidentallychear for the Hilltoppers, but we quickly corrected and redirected! haha He was hilarious, when the guy in front of us would move and block greyson's view, grey would strain and look to the left or right so that he could see the field! awesome (video at end of post)
Grey is a great tailgater too, he prefers to hold the shaker now that he has figured out how it works! We went down to the South Carolina game this past weekend for Halloween! It rained a lot and Chad did a fantastic job keeping Greyson dry. (He is such a good dad. I know I don't tell him enough, but we really do love him) After the awesome (scoring!) 1st half, rain and cold temps, we headed out at half time. Our lil giraffe did so good, Uncle Bryan and Aunt Candy can attest!
Oh yeah, the report for aunt EMILY!(fyi, he is almost in the shoe size of the Reebok's! yea!) he stayed up through all games, no sleepy baby! just as predicted!

i'm pretty sure we are obsessed with this video. SO PROUD! do you know any 1 yr old that is this into ANYTHING? (fyi:we but it in a mode where it is all b/w except for orange, pretty cool)
He is talking with Grammy and Pops on the Phone and hears Gram say "TOUCHDOWN" How Classic! Greyson has no chance of being anything but a big orange fan! We can't wait to take him to his first game on Sat! GO VOLS!
I made it through his birthday on the 13th, I even made it through the party besides a small tear during the prayer, but tonight when I sat down to pick out pictures and videos to share here on the blog... it hit me... my little baby is ONE! I can't express the joy, the ironic sadness, the happiness, the shock, the pride, the gratitude and the love that we feel. Hopefully our pictures and videos will help you understand. (there are soooo many pictures)
